Summary: Castle Combe is a town out of a movie scene. It’s a must see. This hotel is a small operation but our room was huge with the largest bed ever in a hotel and a very comfortable bathroom as well (Room 12). We loved staying here so much we wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was amazing and quickly prepared.

Summary: Although I upgraded to a Superior room, I would night want to stay there for more than two nights as there was hardly any draw space for one person let alone two. The staff where very helpful throughout the stay and during dinner service but while having pre-dinner drinks the waitress drop the tray of drinks on me which left me soaked (lucky enough only my jeans) and apart from an apology there was no offer of a compensatory drink.

Summary: Charming place, great staff. Age of the facility, no elevators can make it difficult to access with large luggage, especially for older travelers.

Summary: Everything was excellent, only issue was there was a private function on and we were informed the bar would be closed to us after 9pm on the second night! First time ever this has happened and we have stayed in multiple hotels! Guests in the hotel shouldn’t be refused access to the bar at all.

Summary: One of only two places to stay in a really charming old England town. The room was spacious and had everything you needed. It is an old building, so no elevator and tight hallways. Mostly great service although a couple of the male workers seemed a bit snobish when we had not made reservations for dinner. There are only a couple of places to eat so if that is a big concern, make sure you have a reservation. We still managed to eat at a pub across the street and at the sister location, the Manor. If you’re visiting the Cotswolds, don’t miss Castlecombe.
